Tropical Pineapple Smoothie (Kid-Friendly)

Tropical Pineapple Smoothie (Kid-Friendly)

I’ll be honest with you…

I’m a health and fitness advocate, yet it’s not that easy for me to eat fruit and veggies.

I eat them, of course, but do I eat the daily requirement tailored to my needs?

Nope. Absolutely not.

Which is why I’m glad to have finally found what works best for me to ensure I get in all of my nutrients…

I’m not new to the smoothie world.

In fact, I’ve been making them at home for as long as I can remember.

It’s nice (and cuts down on time) when you can go to Planet Smoothie and get one made, but boy is it expensive!

Buying fresh fruit and vegetables, and making your smoothie at home will save you loads of money.

I used to use water as my liquid base in my smoothie.

Long story short, the smoothie was bland and prevented me from drinking one every day.

It’s also the reason why my kids never finished their serving, either.

(spoiler alert…they absolutely LOVE their smoothie now!)

Cue pineapple juice!

Pineapple juice is what really gives this recipe a tropical kick.

Whether you like fresh pineapple juice or canned, they both work well.

If your blender isn’t the best of the best, blending your ingredients separately works best.
